Composition: Tetramethyl thiuram monosulphide

Application:

1) It is a fast accelerator often used as a booster for good processing safety in comparison with other thiurams.

2) Unlike thiuram disulphides, the monosulphides do not produce satisfactory cures in complete absence of
elemental sulphur.

3) Typical dosage: 0.2 – 0.5 phr.

4) In polychloroprene rubbers, Accicure TMTM (1.0 phr) used with DPG or DOTG (1.0 phr) and sulphur (0.5 phr)
gives a curing system which is a useful alternative to ethylene thiourea (ETU).

5) It offers better processing safety with similar curing activity.
