Application:

1) Delayed action accelerator.

2) Produces vulcanisates of excellent quality whose mechanical properties and ageing characteristics
resemble those of boosted thiazole systems.

3) Imparts high level of tensile strength and modulus in rubber as compared to other sulphenamides

4) It is a popular accelerator for inner tubes.

5) Typical dosage usually varies from 0.5 – 1.5 phr although in specialty EV systems even higher dosages
are recommended.
