Application:

1) Fast curing accelerator suitable for most of the common rubbers.

2) It is very flat curing and confers on the vulcanisates low modulus and excellent ageing properties.

4) In combination with guanidine accelerators, Accicure MBT gives fast curing high-modulus rubbers; such
mixtures are often too scorchy for natural rubber compounds, but are recommended for SBR.

5) Boosted with thiuram or a dithiocarbamate, Accicure MBT is popular for quick curing moulded articles.

6) It causes only slight discolouration on exposure to light and also has useful peptizing properties.

7) The presence of stearic acid and zinc oxide is necessary for good cures.

7) Typical dosage varies from 1.0 – 1.5 phr.
