Accicure DPG

Composition: Diphenyl guanidine

Appearance: Off-white powder.

Application:

1) Used as a secondary accelerator in combination with thiazoles and sulphenamides.

2) Used normally in the range 0.5±0.3 phr dosages

3) Such combinations give fast cures and a high level of physicals with good modulus

4) Such combinations give is very popular for footwear & cables, etc.

5) As a replacement of ETU, it is a preferred accelerator for Neoprenes used in conjunction with Accicure TMT
or Accicure TMTM where usage of both normally stay around 1 phr.

6) It is also a popular accelerator (2.5-3 phr) for ebonites.

7) Accicure DPG is used in NR latex as a secondary gelling agent (“foam stabilizer”) in the silico-fluoride-
gelled latex foam process.
